F.A.Q.

Why is the shampoo a different colour?

The primary difference in this formula is that we are using organic dehydrated aloe (which is then re-hydrated), versus organic aloe juice for two reasons. One, organic aloe juice was becoming increasingly harder to source, and two, the cost was significantly increasing as a result.

In keeping with our ethos of clean and simple ingredients, adding an artificial colour was never an option and we've instead chosen to inform you of this change instead of hide it from you.

Is the shampoo safe for colour-treated hair?

Yes! Many of our customers use it with colour-treated hair. The one thing to note is that our shampoo is fairly cleansing, so you'll want to make sure you follow up with a good conditioner.

What is the pH of the shampoo?

The shampoo has a pH of 5.5, though it will become a little more alkaline as it is exposed to air.
